Registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, UPCCW is a state level branch of New Delhi-based Indian Council for Child Welfare, which is affiliated to International Council for Child Welfare. Thus, UPCCW is a unit of the international body. UPCCW is also registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1975, for receiving foreign grants and under relevant sections of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for income tax exemptions.

Vision Mission & Objective

Working Area
Though UPCCW is mandated to work in entire Uttar Pradesh, it is at present working in 27 districts of the state thorough District Councils of Child Welfare (DCCWs) and one affiliated organisation.
